Give back to the families of the injured
Thousands of heroes have returned from the war wounded in body and soul. From the massacre in the Gaza envelope, to the families of the wounded IDF soldiers and security forces who went into battle during Simchat Torah, October 7, 2023, or afterward, leaving families behind – just to fight for all of us!
This is a project Lema'an Achai has been working on with Avital Shindler. Avital is a strong woman, mother and wife. Her husband Amichai, a young dad of 6, was severely injured as Hamas terrorists blasted open the Shindler's saferoom door as he tried to hold it closed. As a result he lost both his arms.

1. Rehabilitation
Please give generously towards the needs of the affected families, as they attempt to re-build their lives:- Financial assistance to prevent an economic collapse.
- Therapy for the spouse of the injured and their children.
- Financial counseling – learning to budget in their new reality.
2. Bar/Bat Mitzvah Assistance
- Sponsor Part of a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. In the coming year, many families of the wounded will celebrate Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. In their difficult economic reality, these families need your help and support.
- Bar/Bat Mitzvah Twinning. If your own family is celebrating a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, make your occasion so much more meaningful by twinning with a family still suffering from the physical and emotional scars of the war. For more info, contact Ella at info@lemaanachai.org.
