Dr. Ronnie Herrmann
Board MemberDr. Ronnie Herrmann, a graduate of NYU Dental School, has been practicing family dentistry for over 40 years. He is the founder and lead dentist of Rockland County based, state of the art, dental practice. Together with his wife Jennifer, they are the proud parents of seven children (two of whom live in Israel), and grandparents for more than 25 gems. For the past 15 years Dr. Herrmann has been an avid supporter of Lema'an Achai, in particular, with the organization's dental clinic.

Rabbi Pini Dunner
Board MemberRabbi Pini Dunner hails from a prominent German rabbinic dynasty that miraculously survived the Holocaust and re established itself in London, England. He is an acknowledged expert on antiquarian Hebrew books and manuscripts and is frequently consulted by libraries, academics, dealers, and private collectors. Rabbi Dunner currently serves as the Senior Rabbi at Beverly Hills Synagogue and resides in Beverly Hills, California, together with his wife and children.

Dena Cohen Tauber
Board MemberDena Cohen Tauber is a big fan of Lema'an Achai's Smart Chesed Methodology, and as a result has been supporting the organization for many years. Dena is a partner in Herrick, Feinstein Law Firm. Dena is the mother of two, is married to Larry Tauber and lives in Staten Island, NY.

Howard Karesh
Board MemberHoward N. Karesh joined the board of American Friends of Lema'an Achai in June 2018. An experienced community leader, Howard serves professionally as vice president, Corporate Communications , at Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc., a global medical technology company. Prior roles include leadership positions at Exelon Corporation, ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank Corporation (now Bank of America), and a series of increasingly senior positions at public relations agencies, including Ketchum and Edelman. Adam Cohen
Board MemberAdam P. Cohen is a partner at the law firm of Walden Macht & Haran LLP, where his practice focuses on white collar defense, government and internal investigations, corporate disputes, and good government litigation. He was drawn to Lema'an Achai because it is a non-judgmental organization, helping anyone in need regardless of personal history. He continues to support Lema’an Achai because he believes strongly in the Smart Chesed philosophy and he has seen the Lema’an Achai team display the talent and the drive to implement it effectively. Adam, his wife Naomi, and their two children live in Great Neck, NY.
